Becoming a Patient

Many people who learn about Paracelsus want to become patients, but are confused how to get started with the process. The first step is to provide us with some information about your reason for wanting to visit, and to ask any questions that you may have. To make this as simple a process as possible, we provide you with an on-line information request form to complete.

Once your form is received, our staff will be in touch with you to answer any questions you may have, and provide you with information about Paracelsus. We will also ask you for an in-depth medical history if you decide you are interested in coming to Switzerland. Although the vast majority of people who discover Paracelsus entertain the idea of coming for treatment, our program is not for everyone. For some, they are not well enough to travel to Switzerland to see us. For others, they are concerned about the reaction they will receive from their doctors. If you have any concerns about your ability to make the trip, we are always happy to discuss them with you. Just provide this information on your request form.

Some people wonder about the cost of care at Paracelsus. Although the typical cost is no more than conventional medicine, the treatments at Paracelsus are not covered by insurance. For the average patient, the cost of treatments at Paracelsus is about $7,800 for the first week and $4,800 for each additional week. But these costs could be considerably higher based on your individual treatment plan. You should note that after your evaluation, we will recommend a treatment plan for you, but ultimately you decide what treatments you will take.

Once we have received your information request form, we will be in touch within 3 business days. Our first contact with you will be an e-mail acknowledging that we have received your information request, responding to your questions, and outlining next steps. We are able to see most people within 2 to 12 weeks depending on the time of year, our current doctor schedules, and your ability to travel.
